I made online booking for this hotel double bedrooms with breakfast. Checked in by 12.30afternoon. We were asked to pay ₹2800/- upfront, then taken to our room. It looked good. The person was courteous, took our bags, switched on the AC.
After about 30mins, the room was still not chill. The fan was on, but AC not much throw. I called and the guy came and after fiddling with the remote asked us to wait more ½hour for full cooling.
After waiting 30 minutes, nothing much changed, I again called the person to change my room. Nothing happened. I went to the reception, there met a lady Ms.Selvi, in lift, she said the room change was in process and took me to check another room. This was more spacious and had a new AC unit. She helped us to change room immediately. Basic toiletries were also given, with drinking water bottles. The AC was very good, queen size bed and bathroom big and clean. Everything was perfect.
Next day breakfast at 8am. Hot idlis, dosa, cut papaya, kichadi, toasted bread with butter and Jam! Nice coffee. Things were wonderful. We went out and came back.
We planned to check out by 1pm.
And cleared the room. So far so good.
Now the trouble started. As I handed out the keys the guy said we're out stayed longer. I reminded him, it's not my fault, the first room was not good, we actually got proper room only by 2pm yesterday, you made us sit in a non AC room for 1hr! The guy sarcastically said, I simply finding faults to avoid paying extra time! That's it I really surprised how the nerve he had to say such things to a customer. And I was about to compliment him on food, service etc. The guy again said rudely, I didn't want to pay extra, (that's about ₹150/-). I blasted the guy, for such cheap behaviour, who would want to change room without a reason. Went out. If you are booking here, check out the room first before payment.
